AIM System Requirements |
The Attendee Information Manager runs on the Microsoft Windows 9x/NT/2000/ME platform. Dayton Technologies recommends the following minimum system configuration for an AIM workstation:
Intel Pentium III 600 MHz |
128 MB RAM |
100MB Free disk space |
Super VGA 1024 x 768 Video |
32x CD-ROM |
Microsoft Office 2000 |
Microsoft Network (or equivalent) for multi-user installations |
Note that for large, or multi-site WAN AIM installations, Microsoft SQL Server is the AIM database platform. Therefore, the customer must provide a Microsoft Windows 2000 Server platform with Microsoft SQL Server prior to installation. For smaller installations, Microsoft Access provides the AIM database platform, and no special network considerations are necessary.
In order to utilize the client ID card printing facilities, at least one workstation must be equipped with:
Eltron P310C (or equivalent) plastic card printer with CMYK ribbon |
Sony Mavica FD Series digital still camera (or equivalent) |
To utilize the barcode scanning feature for attendance and client retrieval, all workstations where barcode reading is necessary must be equipped with one of the following:
Zebra Barcode Anything Scan CCD (or equivalent) barcode scanner |
Symbol Cobra LS 1900 Series (or equivalent) barcode scanner |
